


We got the idea for this exeriment from here:
We found out where the vessels are that take up water. The coloured water went right up to the leaves and coloured them.
The first photo shows the position of the xylem vessels throughout the celery.
The second photo shows us the colour of the leaves and the third shows us the celery soaking up the coloured water.

I used food colouring and no i have'nt tried any thing else
